INTRODUCTION
Jennie Salome Wilson was my mother. She was born on December 13, 1903, in Alta Loma, Texas. Alta Loma means "high ground". The house that she was born in was built from driftwood from the 1900 storm. The picture above shows my mother and her older Brother Bruce on the back porch of that house. As of March 2009 the house still stands, and is for sale.In the back I am sure that the porch has been replaced and the Hot Water Shed added. As you can see in the 1905 photo the house was very basic. The windows are boarded up for Hurricane Ike in 2008. This house has withstood all hurricanes for 106 years.
The purpose of this site is to provide a place for pictures and information about my mother's family. I was adopted so this is not really my family. This is a tribute to my Mother. It is a work in progress and all input, either of materials or suggestion about design and content are welcome. Also if some one down line is interested in becoming the next generations webmaster I will with Joy share access to the coding so when I am gone others will follow to keep our history alive.
