Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions.
Small people always do that, but the really great make you
feel that you, too, can become great. - Mark Twain

The Primary in Texas is over. Governor Goodhair won the Republican Primary. It is hard to believe that there are that many Texans that can be fooled by Secessionist Rick Perry.

He will probably win in the fall because the Texas Democratic Party is a joke and Bill White is running as a bi-partisan no party guy. I just don't think that will wash this cycle.

People want things done and there needs to be a way to do things. Being Mayor of Houston and Governor of Texas are two very different things. We will see.

One thing that Perry has going for him is that he really wants to be President like his buddy Bush. A fire in the gut helps to win. Do not see that fire in Bill White.
Medina got about 18% of the vote. I hope she will try again for a State office, Representative or Senator. There is nothing like going to the Big City to get an education. If she can win one of those she could launch a bid in 2012 for Governor again.

These grassroots movements spring up and die out as quick as grass, but they do not need to do that. It took about 10 year the last time that a new party emerged in the US.

There has to be some way to best the Corporatocracy that is taking over at all levels.
